Time Warner Cable Consumer Alert!
I just saw this story on-line about how Time Warner Cable may lose the Viacom channels if it can't come to a deal by tomorrow night. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081231/ap_on_en_tv/viacom_time_warner_cable All I can say is that if I don't have access to the new episode of The Daily Show on Monday night, I might start researching what Fios can do for me.

I checked my MTV at 12:08 (I know...LAME!) and it was operational. I celebrated briefly before realizing I was now watching Double Shot at Love. Made me re-think my hang-wringing over the possible lack of MTV before I had the epiphany that it's the OPTION of being able to watch Double Shot At Love that's important. Let's hear it for identical twin bisexual dating!
